Planting Seeds Scholarship Initiative

Given the global pandemics, Ballet Afrikana is shifting to virtual arts education. Ballet Afrikana continues its dedication to providing solid culturally-centered dance education focused on identity development—self-knowledge—and the fundamentals of movement. Through arts education, students not only explore dance, but also become empowered to learn and embrace their heritage leading to: heightened self-esteem, creativity, discipline and the tenacity to achieve.

We invite you to contribute to the Planting Seeds Scholarship initiative. Your support is invaluable as we continue to provide youth dance-arts education within the Greater Rochester community and beyond.
